HOW TO BE A PERFECT CHRISTIAN

gvadmin

After the Summer Series and before we begin our series on David, Gill brings this proposition to us. Jesus said, “You must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect. ”Matthew 5:48So what does it mean to be perfect? First of all, being perfect is not the same as the pursuit of excellence. When we pursue excellence, we are determined to do our best with our given talents, resources and time. Perfectionism, or being perfect, on the other hand, is a PRIDE or FEAR- based compulsion that either fuels our obsessive fixation on doing something perfectly, or paralyses us from doing anything at all.
