Mark continues the series on The Character of God, looking at another two aspects of God. God is Spirit, he has no bodily form in the way that we have a bodily form in which our spirits are contained, while we are alive on the earth. God is not constrained by a bodily form, this is why He can be everywhere at the same time, and it is why the Israelites were told not to make idols.Darkness cannot overcome light; it is impossible for darkness to overcome light. Darkness is not the opposite of light it is the absence of light. The darkness of night happens when there is the absence of the light of the son, but as soon as the sun appears the darkness disappears, it cannot remain and overcome the light.
