CONNECT

Connection is at the heart of what we do. It's in connecting with God that we discover who we are, and why we're here. We also love connecting with each other, spending time together - the journey is much more fun with company.

Whether you're exploring faith or looking for a church in Purley to call your home, we'd love you to join us on a Sunday. We meet at 10:30am

Connect Groups

Most connect groups have around 10 to 12 people, meeting in homes in Purley and Coulsdon and on a weekly basis.

It’s a place where you can form friendships, share both the good times and the bad, and work out what it means to follow Jesus today. During a typical connect group evening, you might worship together, pray for each other and have a time of sharing and teaching. Together, we can serve our communities in creative ways that we couldn’t do on our own.

Our Autumn Connect Groups will be announced shortly – Watch this space

  • Monday 10:AM – 12:00 Noon

    Led by Gill Visser

    Sensible Shoes

The moving story of four strangers as they embark together on a journey of spiritual formation: Hannah, a pastor who doesn’t realize how exhausted she is. Meg, a widow and recent empty-nester who is haunted by her past. Mara, a woman who has experienced a lifetime of rejection and is now trying to navigate a difficult marriage. Charissa, a hard-working graduate student who wants to get things right. You’re invited to join these four women as they reluctantly arrive at a retreat centre and find themselves drawn out of their separate stories of isolation and struggle and into a collective journey of spiritual practice, mutual support and personal revelation. Along the way, readers will be taken into a new understanding of key spiritual practices and find tangible support for the deeper life with God.

  • Tuesday 7:45PM – 9:30PM
    26 South Drive, Coulsdon, CR5 2BG

    Led by Mark Visser

    Simplifying Revelation

In this series, Shane J. Wood, Ph.D. (New Testament faculty at Ozark Christian College) will help you think critically about the book of Revelation and read it for what the text says and not what you have always been told that it says. Shane hopes to simplify the book so that you can deliver a blessing to those who read it.
